Please note that ALL members need to adhere to these General Terms and Conditions when making use of the office space and facilities supplied by The Corner Office. All members are also responsible for ensuring that their guests, employees, clients or invitees adhere to these terms and conditions.
Executive Members
Private office space must be restored to its original state during the notice period, prior to termination of membership. Any damage to the walls, floors, windows, doors, locks, glass or electrical switches and connections other than fair wear and tear, is to be repaired at the expense of the member on vacating the space.
No desks, shelving units or wall hangings are to be fixed to the walls without prior consent from The Corner Office management.
Keys to specific offices will be provided for members and their team as per the office allocation.
Executive Members and additional co-workers are expected to work in their executive space and not in the open and hot desk areas. If there is a need to work in the hot desk area, this will be charged at a discounted members’ rate.
Signage and branding: Company name will be added to front wall in plain text, and company name/logo will be applied to/next to the member’s office door by The Corner Office team.
Logo must be provided to The Corner Office in a vector format (eg. svg, ai, editable pdf) by the member. If this is not available, the member should provide the highest resolution version possible of their logo so that it can be redrawn for production use. Once redrawn the member will be sent a proof for approval prior to production. Please note that this will extend the lead time on signage application.
Signage for the front wall and door, will be ordered and applied at the same time.
Membership terms are not affected by any delays related to signage for whatever reason.
Early Cancellation: Should a member terminate their membership prior to the initial 12 months, the cost of the signage and design time (if the logo required redrawing) will be deducted from the deposit.
Boardroom usage:
This package entitles members to 8 hours of complimentary boardroom use per month in Boardroom 2. Alternatively this can be used as 4 hours in Boardroom 1.
The allocated hours for the use of the boardroom do not accrue from month to month.
Deposit:
A refundable deposit to the value of the monthly payment of your contract is required, along with your first month’s membership fees in advance at the commencement of your contract.
This deposit will be refunded, free of interest - less any outstanding moneys due at the close of your contract
This deposit may not be used in lieu of your final month’s membership
Any cost incurred in order to repair damages over and above acceptable wear and tear will be deducted from this deposit. This will be decided at the sole discretion of management.

Premium Members
Premium Members will be allocated a dedicated booth for use only for the duration of the membership period.
A premium membership may be shared by 2 people, however they may not be on site simultaneously.
Each desk is equipped with power, a chair and a lockable space for personal items.
This membership entitles members to 4 hours of complimentary boardroom use per month in Boardroom 2 (the 6 seater boardroom), or 2 hours in Boardroom 1.
The allocated hours for the use of the boardroom do not accrue from month to month.
There will be an annual price increase, the amount of such increase shall be dependent on escalation of running costs and market influences.
Light Members
Light Members are entitled to 32 hours per month use of one of the hot desks, which include:
The dedicated hot desks;
Any one of the desks in the open work area which has a number allocated to it;
A space in the common areas, or boardroom 1 if the room has not been booked for an event.
Only one person per membership is permitted, no membership features may be shared.
Please note that there is a limit to the number of hot desks available at any one time.
Light Members’ hours are logged via the gate system. Please be sure to call in and out of the office so that times are logged accurately
If the member is unable to call the gate system for whatever reason, they should log their entrance/exit time manually with a member of The Corner Office team.
The monthly time allocation does not accrue or roll over.
Members are welcome to use more than their allocated 32 hours per month. Thereafter additional time is charged per hour at the relevant current retail rate.

Day Pass Members
A Day Pass entitles access to The Corner Office during office hours (07h30 to 17h00) Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Day Pass Members are entitled to one day’s use of a hot desk, which include:
The dedicated hot desks;
Any one of the desks in the open work area which has a number allocated to it;
A space in the Event Room if the room has not been booked for an event.
Only one person per Day Pass is permitted.
Please note that there is a limit to the number of hot desks available at any one time.
Day Pass holders should book their space in advance through The Corner Office team to ensure a desk.
If a Day Pass Member would like to host a guest, the boardroom needs to be booked.
This pass entitles the user to book the boardroom at the discounted Member’s rate on the same day of Day Pass use only. (i.e. 10% discount off the retail rate).
Virtual Members
Membership Features:
Professional business address.
One dedicated telephone number.
Calls answered in the company name of the Virtual Member between 07h30 and 18h00 Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
One primary cell phone extension.
Voicemail messages emailed to you as a voice note by the system
24 hour voicemail retrieval.
Meeting spaces and Day Passes can be booked at a reduced members’ rate.
Receiving of post and courier parcels.
The minimum term of a virtual membership is 12 months.
Office Access
Post and packages can be collected between 07h30 and 17h00 Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Packages can be delivered to The Corner Office Monday between 07h30 and 17h00 Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. If a package is expected to arrive after 16h00, notice must be given to the Corner Office to ensure that there is someone available to receive it.
This membership does not include use of the office space, other than for delivery and collection of packages or mail by persons authorised in writing by the Virtual Member.
Proof of identity must be supplied when an authorised person signs for and collects mail or packages.
Once a membership expires, or if a membership account is in arrears, The Corner Office shall suspend the services provided to the member.
The Corner Office takes no responsibility for the process of porting telephone numbers to The Corner Office from another provider and all charges will be for the account of the Virtual Member. The Corner Office shall assist wherever possible with this porting process.
Fees, Extras & Set up
A once-off set up fee of R600 is charged on initial sign up, which covers the configuration of the member’s telephone system and is non-refundable.
Outgoing calls are charged at cost to us plus 20%.
Basic monthly membership covers one primary cell phone extension and additional cell phone extensions (with the same number) may be added for an additional R70 per extension per month.
Before set up, the configuration of calls shall be discussed agreed.
For example: Calls can be made directly to the Virtual Member, then revert to reception if unanswered OR calls can be made directly to reception and are forwarded through to the Virtual Member.
Temporary telephone numbers can be provided while the Virtual Member’s telephone number is in the process of being ported.
There will be an annual price increase, the amount of such increase shall be dependent on escalation of running costs and market influences.
Add-on VoIP Phone Service
Membership Features:
One dedicated telephone number.
One primary cell phone extension.
Voicemail messages emailed to you as a voice note by the system
24 hour voicemail retrieval
All calls are recorded, backed up and saved for up to 2 months.
This add-on will piggyback onto any current membership and will renew or terminate on the same date as the current membership package.
If a current membership with The Corner Office is terminated, the retention of a telephone and reception service may be retained by signing up for a Virtual Membership.
Fees, Extras & Set up
Initial VoIP Phone fees are due on signature and acceptance of this package.
Monthly VoIP Phone fees are due with the current membership fees in advance on the 25th day of each month.
Outgoing calls are charged at cost to us plus 20%.
Additional cell phone extensions (with the same number) can be added for an additional R70 per extension per month.
Executive and Full Members can add a cordless landline at The Corner Office for an additional R145 per extension per month.
Calls can be answered by our receptionist at The Corner Office in the name of a company or business, between 07h30 and 18h00 Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays for an additional R120 per month.

Liability of the Corner Office
The Corner Office will not be liable for any loss or damage from any cause arising, which a member, its guests, employees, clients or invitees may sustain arising out of its membership or use of the facilities provided by The Corner Office.
By accepting these terms and conditions, the member hereby indemnifies and holds The Corner Office and its employees harmless against any loss or damage from any cause arising, which a member, its guests, employees, clients or invitees may sustain arising out of its membership or use of the facilities provided by The Corner Office.
